Sweet Justice is a ministry arm to Real Issues Ministries. Real Issues Ministries was founded in <?>.  When Founder, Staci Sweet, a domestic abuse and violent crime survivor, was given her ministry, it was revealed it would include

OUR MISSION

Teaching Word-Based Redemption for the Unredeemable

When God first called me into the ministry, He revealed the name of the ministry would be Real Issues Ministries and a part of my ministry would be to pray, intercede, teach and talk about REAL HARD ISSUES. Hard issues seldomly discussed in the church or secularly from a biblical point of view. Over the years, He began to show me one such hard issue from His point of view. That hard issue - criminal redemption. The Spirit of God began to show me redemption the way He saw it. Not man’s point of view. Not the courts. Not even my own but how He sees redemption. And the way He sees it is nothing at all how we see it.

God believes in us so, that He’ll redeem a repentant repeat offender. We, on the other hand would not, but God would. How do I know? Because He redeemed a repentant killer who went on to write two-thirds of the New Testament. That killer was Paul the Apostle. And though he never killed anyone with his bare hands, he was an accessory to multiple deaths.

Again, as a society, we would never allow a man like Paul into the church. Let alone allow him to translate or write any parts of the Bible. Yet God made an executive decision, redeemed Paul and called him into the ministry. And it’s example after example, like these, that God continues to unveil to me about His redemptive power.

Helping inmates take responsibility for their actions while simultaneously doing the head and heart work needed to receive redemption, and quite possibly, release.

CRIME, CRIMINALS, and REDEMPTION

What the Bible Says about Certain Crimes and Those Who Commit Them

Crime, Criminals, and Redemption is an inmate’s guide to redemption, as it displays the corrective and rehabilitative heart of God. It gives God’s free and incarcerated children a glimpse at what God can do for those we deem unsalvageable, unredeemable, and unworthy of forgiveness. To give you an example, in Matthew 27:15-26, Barabbas was indicted for murder. Yet in Matthew 27:21, the jurors voted to let him go. There are other instances, such as Moses’ manslaughter in Exodus 2:11-15, Peter’s assault with a deadly weapon in Acts 9, and let’s not forget the prostitute that wasn’t charged with child endangerment in 1 Kings 3, to name a few.
