A Spiritual Escalation

While reading Philippians 1, I had to remind myself that the same God the Father in verse 2 of Philippians is the same God in verse 28 which says…

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father,

and from the Lord Jesus Christ. - v. 2

And do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such [constancy and fearlessness]

will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction,

but [a sure token and evidence] of your deliverance and salvation,

and that from God. [v. 28 - AMPC]

And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God. [v. 28 - KJV]

again, the same God that ensured us that we have grace and peace, as stated by Paul in verse 2 is also the same God who said IN NOTHING TERRIFIED. NOTHING.

When you read the word perdition, in that verse, you may not have necessarily understood it's definition. In like manner, those who are antagonist and adversarial towards you, those who yield to wrong spirits may not understand as well.

It's similar to working in a call center.

In the same way someone might say, “Let me speak to your Supervisor!"  They made that demand because they think there is something that you don't know or there is something you cannot do for them, in which case they felt the need to demand to speak to someone higher; someone who has the ability, authority, and power to do whatever it is they want done. The same is true for wrong spirits.

The individuals who have yielded to their influence don’t know what perdition means because if they did, they would have never come against you. But even though they don’t understand, the spirits influencing them understand very well. They have firsthand knowledge of perdition which is defined as, ‘ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal):—damnation), destruction’. So, when you use the authority Jesus Son gave you in Luke 10:19

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

...they know you know. You may not have control over that person, but you do have authority over them (i.e., wrong spirits). That person may not understand that they are in the process of experiencing ruin, loss and destruction, but that spirit does. So instead of you being upset with that person, who has no control and/or power over me, the situation or themselves, for that manner, you too need to escalate 😊.

You need to speak to that wrong spirit influencing their behavior.

That spirit knows what perdition means.

That spirit has firsthand experience and knows of Christ’s power because He was with them in hell for three days and left. They know that.

They saw and/or experienced Christ's victory. Therefore, they know about Christ and the authority He has given to you. Therefore, by all means escalate the situation and speak directly to the spirit and not to the person about the attack. And in the same way a customer gets resolution, as a child of God, you will too!
