Finish It or Someone Else Will

While praying in the Spirit this morning, the Holy Spirit reminded me of a Word He had given on October 19, 2024, which was this:
God had already GIVEN you the answer.
As I began to pray about it, I decided to not just pray for me and mine but for the body. As I did God revealed that:
There are those in the church today waiting for an answer that has already been given.
That most come to church looking for solutions to problems that God have already shared.
That to repeatedly and continuously ask God the same question is disrespectful.
That the reason we have not seen any change is because we have not finished that which we have started.
That since God has revealed that He has already given us our answers - which is to finish that which we have started, that we will once again, double back and ask Him to give us the next steps on how we can.
That kinda stung because for me, not only have He GIVEN me the answer, I documented it in my journal. My hold up, as may be the case for you, is that I have not done, completed or finished what God gave. And in case you're wondering what those next steps are - simply pick up where you left off. If you need a little more help, then do this:
Create an Unfinished List and start there. Not a To Do List because that would imply that you need to get those things done. This is an unfinished list which means it was on your to-do list and it didn't get done, therefore it deserves the highest priority, especially if it pertains to something you have been praying about or that you know God has placed it on your heart to do.
But again, the sole purpose is to pick up where you left off and should you not remember, create an unfinished list. Be sure to check out my Unfinished Tablet in my store.
Let me give you an idea of how this works.
Back in 2018, I started writing a book called Side Chick. It was supposed to be my first attempt at fiction but in a truthful way. I banged it out in a matter of hours but got tired and said that I would come back to it later. That later turned into months where I would add to it and proof it a bit which later morphed into 7 years. Yes, you read that right. 7 years. Because this is not the first time the Holy Spirit has reminded me that I need to FINISH some things, I made the decision a few weeks ago that I would use the last quarter of the year TO FINISH some projects, this being one. So how did I finish it? I simply opened the document and started making revisions. It was just that easy. And though it was, who knows what would have happened had I FINISHED it years ago. I would probably already have become a New York Times Bestseller.
Do Whatever He Says

Like so many of you, I have been asking for miracles, and God graciously reminded me that I am in the middle of many...I need only to finish. John 2 gives us an example of what this looks like in real time. Remember when Jesus' mothers told the servants at the wedding, “Whatever He says to you, do it”, we should too because then and only then will we get our answers because the way to get a miracle is TO DO whatever Jesus says, as evidenced in John 2. It reads
Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the
manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.
Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.”
And they filled them up to the brim.
What would have happened if the servants partially filled four water pots when there were six that needed to be filled. What if they said they were tired 😫 and said that at least four were partially filled and that Jesus could use those - what would have happened? I tell you what would have happened - there would have been no wine. Everybody, including Jesus, would have had to wait for the servants TO FINISH doing what Jesus told them TO DO.
📍 This is where most of us are. Speaking for myself, I am 📍 there.
The thing we need to see is so is Jesus. 📍😫 🙏🏿
Jesus is still 📍 here waiting on US to finish filling up the four water pots as well as patiently waiting for US to fill the other two to the brim. Partially filling the four and totally not even starting to fill the other two is where most of US are💧💧💧💧📍 which is why most of US haven't gotten anywhere.
Jesus is still here 📍 waiting on US to finish 💧💧💧💧💧💧, but WE mistakenly believed that WE had done all WE needed to do or worse, that 💧💧💧💧 was good enough. Meanwhile, the Lord is looking at US 👀– patiently waiting – for US to fill all 💧💧💧💧💧💧. And though time has passed and the wedding party has left, there’s still wine to be made. But again, because Jesus is still here 📍👀, WE do nothing and…and there is nothing He can do about it.
The LORD is not going to go to the 🕳️ and fill the 💧💧💧💧💧💧 water pots for US neither is He going to cause rain to come in order for them to be filled. He told US to do which means WE gotta get to work!
When it was time for a miracle, Jesus told the servants to get to work by ordering them to “Fill the waterpots with water.” Church, we gotta work! Jesus is not going to change His mind about us doing the work of filling the pots especially when He knows there are 💧💧💧💧💧💧water pots that need to be filled. What He will do is get someone else to fill them if we don’t. 😲😲😲
If we don’t finish filling the 💧💧💧💧 TO THE BRIM while completely FILLING the other 💧💧, He will find someone else to get the job done, and so many times, that is what God had to do.
So please hear this with your spirit:
If we, AS THE BODY, do not finish what the Lord told us to do, the 🌎 world will do it,
take credit for it and will prosper and profit from it...in our faces.
Let me say that again, only with my chest.
If we, AS THE BODY, do not finish what the Lord told us to do,
the 🌎 world will do it, take credit for it and will prosper
and profit from it...in our faces.
So now that we're clear, this is our goal for this last quarter and throughout 2026: To ask God to give us the DAILY grace to do, complete, and to finish all that He has assigned.
So, say it with me: God, I ask You for the grace to do, complete, and finish all that You have assigned me to do. In the name of Jesus'.
Go forth child of the Most High God and finish all He has assigned you to do.
